Toolhop is published by Old Creek Brewing LLC dba ToolHop ("Toolhop", "we", "us"), Parkville, Missouri. This policy explains what we collect when you use the Toolhop iPhone app and gettoolhop.com, and how we use it.

What we collect

• Account information: your name, email address, and profile details you choose to add, such as a photo.
• Neighborhood verification: your address or neighborhood details, used to confirm you live in the neighborhood you join.
• Location: with your permission, your device location is used to place you in the right neighborhood and show nearby tools. We don't track your location in the background or sell it.
• Listings and requests: tools you list, photos, descriptions, availability, and "Need it" requests you post.
• Messages: messages you send to other neighbors through the app, stored so both of you can see the conversation.
• Subscription status: whether you have an active subscription. Payments are handled by Apple; we never see or store your card number.
• Basic technical data: device type, app version, and crash or error logs used to keep the app working.

How we use it

To run the app: create your account, verify your neighborhood, show your listings to neighbors, deliver messages, provide subscription features, prevent abuse, and provide support. We don't sell your personal information and we don't use it for third-party advertising.

What other users see

Neighbors in your neighborhood can see your profile name and photo, your listings and requests, and messages you send them. Your exact address isn't shown publicly.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to host the app and data, send email, and process subscriptions (Apple). They may only use your information to provide those services to us.

Retention and deletion

We keep your information while your account is active. You can delete your account in the app or by emailing us, and we'll delete your personal information except where we must keep it for legal, safety, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Children

Toolhop is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from children.

Your choices

You can turn off location access in iOS Settings, edit your profile and listings, and ask us for a copy of or deletion of your data.

Changes

If we make material changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
